About Luciferous
Luciferous Traditional Chinese Medicine began in Sydney and is now based in Ormond, Melbourne. We welcome people from the local community and surrounding areas, offering acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and related traditional therapies through individual consultations by appointment.
The name Luciferous means bringing light or providing enlightenment. It reflects our aim to help people understand their health, their treatment options and the principles of traditional Chinese medicine.

Meet Siu-Kwan Andy Wong
Andy Wong is a registered Chinese medicine practitioner, Chinese herbal medicine practitioner and acupuncturist. He was trained within a family lineage of traditional Chinese medicine and graduated in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the University of Western Sydney.

Our approach to care
Every consultation begins with a detailed conversation. We take time to understand your current concerns, general health, medical history, medicines and supplements, and what you hope to achieve from treatment.
Traditional Chinese medicine uses an individualised approach. Your practitioner considers the complete presentation rather than relying on one symptom alone. Where appropriate, care may involve acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, moxibustion or Gua Sha.
We explain the proposed approach, what to expect and any relevant precautions before treatment. Chinese medicine may be used alongside conventional healthcare where appropriate; it does not replace necessary medical diagnosis, investigation or emergency care.
A calm, professional clinic
The clinic provides a private setting for consultations and treatment. Appointments are scheduled to allow adequate time for discussion, assessment and questions.
